12歳から舞台に立ち、1999年からプロ奏者としての活動を始め、和太鼓集団「鼓粋」、「東京打撃団」、「打どう心」のメンバーとして活躍している。

数々の和太鼓コンテストでの受賞歴を持ち、全国各地にて、年100回を超える公演を行っている他、指導・創作太鼓の作曲・構成・演出にも取り組んでいる。

外務省主催や国際交流基金派遣事業、「 東京打撃団ツアー」による海外公演も多数。

Takuya has performed on stage from the age of 12, and in 1999 he began his career as a professional.

He organizes and performs in "Kosui", "Tokyo Dagekidan", and "Dadoushin" as a main member of the groups. In addition to winning many awards from Japanese drum contests and performing over 100 concerts every year, he has actively worked in teaching, composing, producing and playing sessions.

As for overseas performances, he has performed at events hosted by the Foreign Ministry and Japan Foundation and the tour of "Tokyo Dagekidan."
The countries he has played in are ; Russia, Morocco, Ghana, France, Madagascar, Uganda, Qatar, Greece, Singapore, Ukraine, Lithuania, Thailand, Brunei, the Philippines, Cuba, Dominica, Barbados, and others.
