Soothe以外にもボーカルのバックサポートやセッション、民謡公演などジャンルを問わず幅広く活動を行う。

また、ギター以外に楽曲・トラック制作活動も行い、映画サウンドトラック、CM音楽、アミューズメント機器BGM、楽曲提供など多方面で活躍中。

Chikao mainly plays classic gut guitar, but also he has built his talent in electric and acoustic guitars with various styles.

Besides being Soothe member, he has actively supported vocalists as a backing musician, played sessions and performed in folk shows, and his challenge never stops.

Remarkably, he is also gifted as a producer of songs, tracks, movie soundtracks, commercial music,
BGM for amusement games etc.
In 2003, he composed the soundtrack in the film "Tagawor", "Labyrinth Of Straight Line" directed by Keiji Sakamoto,
"My Libido" directed by Yoshito Honma.
"Tagawori" won the grand prix prize in 600 minutes film category at Tokyo Fantastic Film Festival.
In 2007, he produced the commercial BGM for the Japanese-style confection store "Shibafune."
